Image of Good Shepherd seated in a pensive posture on an elaborately carved rocky mountain. Across his chest is a rope used to hold his packet of food and he wears a coat like tunic of thick material. Sheep gambol around the rocky mountain at various levels, feeding their young and grazing. One sheep is seen on his shoulder. Near his feet, is a fountain, the water gushes from a lion head amidst acanthus leaves. The base is divided into three grottos; the front center shelters a reclining figure of a penitent studying the scriptures, and the other two have an animal in each.
