Have you ever paused to admire a bird with shimmering blue feathers? Wondered who was behind the lively chorus of chirps from the treetops? Or picked up a curious red feather and found yourself asking, which bird did this come from?
Join us for a magical and interactive session where birds take centre stage, led by the ever-curious and delightfully quirky Binee the Bird Nerd! Based on the book Birds in Your Backyard and Beyond, published by WWF India and Red Panda, and co-authored by Arthy Muthanna Singh, Mamta Nainy, and Kaustubh Srikanth, this event is perfect for young nature lovers and budding birdwatchers.
Here’s what’s in store:
- Start with a guided tour of the Museum of Christian Art, where you’ll explore objects, spaces, and stories through a new lens — the eyes of the birds.
- Settle in for an engaging book reading session with co-author Arthy Muthanna Singh, who will introduce you to a world filled with feathered friends, fun facts, and charming bird riddles.
- Finally, take all that inspiration and turn it into art! In a hands-on session, you’ll create your very own bird bioscapes — imaginative artworks based on the birds you’ve learned about and the stories you’ve heard.
Date: 16th August, Saturday
Time: 02:30 PM
