We invited Merrin to share her experiences of working on various art conservation projects with INTACH
Merrin Anil is an Art Conservator with the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage( INTACH), New Delhi. Apart from her extensive experience in art conservation which includes examining, documenting and conserving polychrome objects, wall paintings, metals; she also conducts seminars, workshops and capacity building events as part of INTACH's Outreach Programme.
Merrin was awarded the Indian Conservation Fellowship through which she trained at SRAL, Netherlands for 6 months. She co-ordinated the conservation of MoCA's collection in 2018-19. Currently she is working on a Research Project at INTACH. Natasha Fernandes, Curator of MoCA, invited Merrin to share her experiences of working on various art conservation projects with INTACH, the conservation of the MoCA Collection as well as the advantages and challenges in conserving art objects.
