Culinary Experiences with MoCA The Legend of Bebinca Discover the story of Goa’s dessert in the Convent of Santa Monica

The Museum of Christian Art, in collaboration with The Goan Kitchen, invites you to a unique culinary and cultural experience at the historic Convent of Santa Monica, where you will witness the making of the “Queen of Goan Desserts” — Bebinca.

Legend has it that centuries ago, within the cloistered walls of this grand convent, Sister Bebiana created a dessert as rich and layered as the life and faith around her.

Step into this immersive experience and discover the step-by-step art of making Bebinca, guided by the expert chef from The Goan Kitchen.

You will also gain key insights into the 17th-century convent, led by our museum facilitators, where its architecture and stories are thoughtfully brought to life.

To make your visit even more memorable, you will receive a thoughtfully curated gift bag filled with delightful surprises, specially put together just for you.

Come, be a part of this unforgettable experience where history, legend, and culinary tradition come alive.
