Each stroke tells a story, blending imagination with heritage.
Here’s what to expect:
* Discover the history and motifs of Chitari craftsmanship
* Experience hands-on painting in the traditional style with a master artisan
* Experiment with vibrant pigments and wooden surfaces
* Create your own Chitari-inspired artwork to take home
Hailing from a family of traditional Chitaris in Cuncolim, Vinod Prabhakar Mardolkar has dedicated his life to preserving and practicing this ancestral art form. With over 19 years of experience as a craftsman and carpenter at the Goa College of Architecture, Vinod continues his family’s five- generation legacy of artistry — from painted toys and festival décor to intricate wooden creations that keep this artform alive.
