MoCA, in collaboration with Goencho Xetkar, invites you to witness the evolving story of agriculture in Goa where age old wisdom blends seamlessly with modern technology to shape the future of rice cultivation.
From understanding today’s paddy to tomorrow’s rice, to observing the precision of a contemporary nursery, this journey brings you closer to the land and the people reimagining its future. Engage with the team behind the transformation and, if you wish, step right into the fields with a live transplanting experience in the scenic landscapes of Batim/Agassaim.
Founded in 2021, Goencho Xetkar is a pioneering collective transforming paddy cultivation in Goa through mechanisation and agritech solutions. Driven by a shared passion for sustainable agriculture, the team works to make farming more efficient and accessible. Through its “Teach the Children” initiative, they engage students with hands-on learning experiences.
