The talks were presented by Apurva Kulkarni, an independent academic, art historian, and the founder of Altamirra, Goa's only art education portal: https://www.altamirraonline.com/

In the session titled Anastasis, held on 25th September 2021, Apurva will map the appearances of Jesus Christ in art, from his resurrection and beyond. The resurrection - the principle doctrine of Christian theology - is perhaps most eloquently summarised in the words of St. Ambrose: "In Christ the world has risen, heaven has risen, the earth has risen".
