The 8th of September is celebrated as the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Preceding this feast, the fourth session of Studiolo online was hosted by the Museum of Christian Art in celebration of Mary, Mother of God (Theotokos) on 4th September 2021. Art historian Apurva Kulkarni discussed the multifarious representations of the Madonna in art.
