An artistic celebration of summer awaits you at the Museum of Christian Art!
Join us this May as we explore Goa’s rich culture and heritage - both natural and built - through art. We have curated an exciting lineup of hands-on activities, where we create art about Holy Hill, explore Goan biodiversity through puppetry, let colours come to life through glass painting with alternate materials and craft your own Coat of Arms.
Here’s more details on what we have in store for you:
- Sketch Walk - Join our museum educators as we dive into the history of the monuments on Holy Hill and the art of sketching, with a personal journal spread you can take home.
- Shadow Puppetry Workshop - Discover natural motifs in the collection of the museum, reflect on Goa’s changing environment, and bring nature’s stories to life with handmade shadow puppets.
- Glass Painting with Alternate Materials Workshop - Compose your own iridescent artwork using acrylic sheets and glass paints, inspired by the collection at MoCA.
- Coat of Arms Workshop - Draw inspiration from the unique motifs in the MoCA collection to create your own personalized coat of arms by transforming it from a sketch to a fully carved piece!
